The final book that Will Smith mentioned as one of the life changing books he has ever read is the Rich Dad Poor Dad written by Robert Kiyosaki (and Sharon L. Lechter). Published in 1997, it still remains a financial bible to many especially for the Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) industry as it advocates the philosophy of getting money to work for people and not getting people to work for money.
In an interview with Oprah, Smith confessed that he can’t stop thinking like a “poor man” and still worries about his financial future. He mentioned how he still worries about money as much as he used to 20 years ago despite being far more successful now. His sons on the other hand, do not have such mind set as they lead a cushy life. Therefore he got his sons to read the book to gain a better understanding of money.
If you are looking to gain control of your financial future, this is one book you need to read and digest.
